All right, some of you may have noticed the CPU errors we've been getting at MoGu--growing pains for a growing site! I have recoded the whole site to straight code instead of using the CMS I was using--not because it was a buggy CMS, but because I can't afford my own server, which is what the CMS deserved! Bottom line is you should notice a much quicker site, and no more errors! Thanks--stick around, we're growing like crazy!

All right, there is a ton of programs we use to mod these phones. Originally, there was a huge suite of programs, each optimized to do one specific function. As we have matured, we now have less confusion and more advanced programs (also easier to use!).
I will attempt to link to any and all current MotoModding software here--if you know of an update to a software I have here, or a program which you don't see listed, please feel free to and let me know! I will get these updated on a regular basis.

. Necessary drivers for modding your Motorola phone. Updated March 11, 2006.
. Great All-in-one program which does seem editing, seem comparison, flex backup, phone explorer (read/write), feature specific enabling, and much more! Updated March 11, 2006.
. Phone explorer (read/write). Largely now replaced by Flex Editors abilities, although still used widely. Updated March 11, 2006.
. Hex editing program, also much replaced by Flex Editor, although still used, as Flex Editor cannot hex edit non-seem files, such as gain_table.bin, etc. Updated March 11, 2006.
(also called P2kMan). Phone explorer (read/write). Replaced by P2k Commander, although sometimes P2k Manager will work where P2k Commander doesn't. Also, good program for getting seems from your phone. On certain models, Flex Editor will have a few qualms about pulling seems, so keep a copy of P2k Manager around. Updated March 11, 2006.
. Used to create/save/edit flexes/flashes for Motorola phones. Also used in creation of DRM icons, as it parses Code Group 15 where the icons are stored. Requires midas.dll be in same folder as .exe file. Updated March 11, 2006.

. Module based program to create/save/edit skins for your Motorola phone. Comes standard with an e398/ROKR module, modules for your specific phone can be found here. Updated March 11, 2006.

. Back up your existing flash, including all settings, etc. Updated March 11, 2006.
. Primarily used in the creation of DRM icons, this program converts RAW files to BMP files, and vice versa. Also requires a bit of hex editing after creation, but hey, thats life. Requires qtintf70.dll in same folder as .exe file. Updated March 11, 2006.
