All right, some of you may have noticed the CPU errors we've been getting at MoGu--growing pains for a growing site! I have recoded the whole site to straight code instead of using the CMS I was using--not because it was a buggy CMS, but because I can't afford my own server, which is what the CMS deserved! Bottom line is you should notice a much quicker site, and no more errors! Thanks--stick around, we're growing like crazy!
if it helps...
Transferring Pictures/Ringtones
by
One of the first things to do to personalize your phone is to put on custom ringtones and wallpapers. It is the easiest way to stand out and make your V3 unique.
Before you get started there are a couple things you should know. Wallpaper needs to be an image that is 176x220 pixels (the screen size of your V3). Ringtones need to be encoded at 192 kbps or less and I recommend you make them no longer than 30 seconds (the maximum ring time before going to voicemail).
For this guide I am using P2k Commander:
Open up P2k Commander. NOTE: If you are transfering ringtones on make sure to put you V3's ring styles on silent.
Go to Options and make sure your looks like this then click ok. (a directory is chosen)
On the right half select P2k Mobile phone from the drop down menu.
You will see a screen like the one below as the files on you phone are being read.
First we will put on a ringtone. In the right side of P2k Commander browse to a/mobile/audio.
In the left side of P2k Commander browse to the location of your ringtone. Select it and then press the Copy button.
You will see a screen like the one below as it is transfered over. NOTE: After the file is transfered it will not appear to be on your phone according to the right box of P2k Commander after this is done. If you want to see that it is actually there hit the Re-Read button next to the right drop down box.
Now we are going to transfer on a picture. We do the same thing as for the ringtone except now in the right side we browse to a/mobile/picture/. Once you have browsed to the a/mobile picture/ directory on the right side then on the left side browse to the picture, select it, and hit copy.
Once again you'll see this screen. NOTE: After the file is transfered it will not appear to be on your phone according to the right box of P2k Commander after this is done. If you want to see that it is actually there hit the Re-Read button next to the right drop down box.
When you see this screen again hit Restart.
Now once your phone is restarted your ringtone and picture will be on there are ready to use!!!
